Photography is my first insight into the world. The lens filters my personal vision and allows me to interpret what I see. While technology changes, it is my desire to maintain a relationship with the original photographic processes that helped bring my art to fruition. Watching time go by as the film develops, or the print processing in chemistry; the time and patience it takes to get the result that you want lead to my first realization that art is a teacher. I utilize analog techniques to crossover from photography into printmaking, an emphasis on the natural elements that facilitate the images development.
